Report Information Button

Hovering the mouse over a reporting box reveals a row of action buttons in its top-right corner — refresh, settings, filter, save and share, and the rest. This release adds a new i button at the left end of that row, present on every reporting box.

What it does

Click the i button to display information identifying the report you are looking at. On a dashboard dense with similar-looking grids and charts, this gives you an immediate, unambiguous answer to "which report is this?" without opening the settings dialog.

The button appears and hides together with the other corner buttons: it is only visible while the mouse is over the box, so it adds nothing to the screen while you are reading data.

The new home for report help

The information button is the foundation for per-report help. It will grow into a direct shortcut to the documentation for each report type, so help for any report on screen is always one click away.
