About Leahy Consulting

Leahy Consulting was founded in 1981 by Mike Leahy, a Purdue University (Krannert School) graduate who started the firm after twelve years as a consultant with Price Waterhouse and as a computer systems engineer with two major computer manufacturers. From its earliest ties to the MCBA package — the software family that evolved into Macola® Progression — the firm grew into a highly successful reseller and, over more than 40 years, into the independent Macola® support and optimization specialists we are today.

Our Cincinnati-based team includes supply-chain consultants, former IT managers, a CPA, a CPIM, programmers and dedicated support staff. Hundreds of manufacturers and distributors rely on us for ERP support, optimization and innovation — and customers tell us they stay because we know the software deeply and provide excellent service.

We provide comprehensive Macola® support to keep your system running smoothly — from day-to-day troubleshooting to proactive managed services, so your team always has the guidance and technical expertise it needs. Our services include:

PULSE Plus™ professional services

PULSE Plus™ is a monthly professional-services plan for Pulse Dashboard and Reporting users: personalized, day-to-day assistance to help you make better use of your ERP software investment. The monthly fee is sized to your needs and can be cancelled at any time. It includes:

  • Day-to-day advice and assistance for making better use of your ERP software
  • Evening and weekend assistance (please call ahead)
  • Our month-end, year-end and physical/cycle inventory checklists
  • Our tip sheets and improvement white papers

Training

We offer regular, hands-on training webinars to help your team build confidence, improve efficiency and get answers in real time — from Pulse Dashboard fundamentals to advanced designer features, plus practical sessions such as planning a successful physical inventory.

Custom software development

Beyond the PULSE product family, we develop custom software for any special needs your business has — Visual Basic Flexibility programming, Event Manager and Synergy support, Macola® ES data conversions, SQL work and custom reporting.
